Municipality of Anao (Ylang Ylang Oil)
Rural Industrialization Can Happen (RICH) gave birth to Anao Ylang-ylang oil industry. As conceived in 1989 by then Provincial Governor Mar Un Ocampo II, there is a need to identify a flagship industrial crop for each of the seventeen (17) municipalities of the province. Together with the Technology and Livelihood Center (TLRC), preliminary resource assessment of the municipality showed that there are seventy two (flowering Ylang-ylang in the community. This prompted TLRC to recommend the development of the Ylang-ylang oil extraction for Anao as part of the RICH program. With this recommendation and seeing the potential role of ylang-ylang oil as dollar-earner, the municipal government embarked on a large scale propagation of the ylang-ylang tree.
The ylang-ylang oil extraction project was formally identified as a sunrise industry on February 2, 1989 as part of the RICH Program. Anao inaugural tree planting was conducted in June in June 12, 1989. The Biyaya sa Anao Foundation, a non-stock, ,non-profit organization was formed as the lead organization in the promotion of ylang-ylang livelihood. An initial 10,000 seedlings of ylang-ylang serve as the kick-off point of the foundation.
Municipality of Concepcion (Processed Meat)
Concepcion processes all sorts of meat products. Tocino (Pork/ Chicken), Longganisa (Smoked/ Skinless/ Jumbo), Hotdogs, Ham, Macao, Embutido, and Chicharon Products. The materials they used are pork, chicken and carabeef. Concepcion extends its market in Cabanatuan City, Pangasinan, La Union and Manila.
Municipality of Moncada (Sweet Potato)
The sweet potato processing project of the Moncada LGU started in 2002. Since Moncada is a major source of sweet potato, the LGU decided to indentify sweet potato processing as their major product in promoting their municipality. They process potato as Sweet Potato Crunchies, SP Chips, SP Beverage, and SP Flour.
Municipality of San Clemente (Tiger Grass Products)
Tiger grass is handcrafted into brooms of different colors. They are not only used for sweeping but as decorative items.
The OTOP of the Municipality of San Clemente makes use of the natural resources richly found in their mountanous areas. These are bamboo, rattan, tiger grass, and nito vines. Majority of the residents in Sitio Dueg are engaged in the manufacture of handicrafts from such materials that in has become the second major industry of the town. Among the popular products are the “soft brooms” and “nito basket” made of tiger grass and nito vines.
Municipality of Bamban (Fresh and Processed Mangos)
Mango is a sweet sour tasting tropical fruit that is in season from December to May. It is processed into different kinds of delicacies to make it available even off seasons.
Fresh Mango is the primary product of Bamban. To make it available all year- round, the mango is processed into different delicacies.
Bamban process mangos into Mango Jam, Dried Mango, Choco Mango (Chocolate- coated sweeted mango).
